CSBS Internship Database
View CSBS Community Partners who frequently host students as interns. This is not a listing of current postings, rather, it is a list of partners who are likely to host you as an intern and information on how to reach out to them.
Micro-Internships
Micro-internships are short-term, paid projects that allow you to gain experience and skills. These opportunities are provided by Parker-Dewey. Since they are short-term, it's unlikely you can earn credit for these interhships. Though they can build your resume.
International Students
International students on an F1 visa are required to apply for CPT if interning outside of the University of Utah system. The ISSS has detailed on these and other international requirements on their page. You can also make an appointment to cover this information with an internship advisor. The Associate Director of Internship Programming can be listed as your advisor for the CPT form.
The Hinckley Institute
Hinckley offers local internships, internships in Washington D.C., and global internships
for students in any major with a high-level of support and structure. Students must
earn Hinckley credit. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to count this
credit towards your major, allied credit, or graduation credit requirements.

Learn about different internship course and their requirements, then request a permission code for the course that aligns with your experience and major.
Goff Strategic Leadership Institute
Leadership happens everywhere. Goff programs help students from all backgrounds learn how to confidently lead in the spaces they care about, though for-credit projects, internships, and more.
The Community Advocacy Fellow program looks for UofU undergraduate students with diverse experiences who are interested in advocating for social justice; students who have experienced injustice in their lives are especially encouraged to apply. Previous advocacy experience is not required.
